About Our Founder & CEO
Aaron S. Malofsky is an accomplished public affairs and digital marketing professional with over 15 years of experience spanning various industries such as energy, education, high performance computing, healthcare and entertainment. He is currently the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of First To Market Consulting Group (FTM) which is dedicated to helping non-profits and small businesses improve the brand awareness for their products and/or services in the global marketplace. Most recently, he executed the public relations and digital marketing strategy for several firms including Building Hope Inc. and Safe Kids Worldwide. Mr. Malofsky is also an active member of The Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Economic Development/Government Relations Committee. He also serves on the board of directors of The Arc Montgomery County and provides marketing strategy expertise.
One of Mr. Malofsky’s notable accomplishments was directing the public affairs and marketing strategy program for President Obama’s White House national public-private partnership, the National Digital Engineering and Manufacturing Consortium (NDEMC), focused on delivering supercomputing resources to help small companies to bolster products’ time to market and overall business competitiveness. During his tenure at The U.S. Council on Competitiveness, he spearheaded customer relationship management (CRM), public affairs and social media support for policy programs including infrastructure and energy efficiency. Mr. Malofsky also spearheaded the public affairs strategy for the American Energy and Manufacturing Partnership, which consisted of senior leaders from Fortune 500 companies, research universities and the U.S. Department of Energy.
His vast experiences extend beyond the corporate business world as Mr. Malofsky utilized his journalism background to create a blog site to promote and generate global awareness of emerging music artists and independent filmmakers. In 2009, he provided SXSW Film Festival red carpet news coverage for various films involving Bill Murray, Robert Duval, Jonah Hill, John C. Reilly and the Duplass brothers. While working in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, he reviewed concerts and independent films for Pegasus News, the online arts and film magazine for the Dallas Morning News. In addition, he also utilized his media relations skills as a General Assignment Editor and contributing writer for CBS-11 TV in Dallas, Texas.
In 2014, Mr. Malofsky graduated with honors from the Dale Carnegie Leadership Program in Baltimore, MD. He holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Marketing Research from the University of Texas at Arlington as well as earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from American University in Washington, D.C. During his undergraduate studies, he received a grant to attend the Institute of Political Journalism at Georgetown University.
